In the intricate journey of my mental health, I have experienced both highs and lows, navigating through challenges and finding moments of clarity in between. I went to therapy for the first time last year after years of trying to keep it together all by myself. Finally, I was ready to admit that I needed help. I was failing to see a way to go on. I turned 40 and I did not think I was where I was supposed to be and it killed me. So last year was the year I thought I would go and fix things and I did. Sort of. I fixed a broken mindset.

When I began my mental health journey I was reading a sort of biography of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and believe me, there was no coincidence only divine timing. The very same book gave me the exact lesson that I badly needed at the time. It was the profound understanding that life is not about the glory. It is about showing up for yourself and what you believed in. It is about being present in the moment and letting those moments be enough. That in itself transcends any pursuit of glory. The lesson that YOU, at any point in your life, are enough.

In a world that constantly encourages us to chase our dreams, it’s crucial to remember that success isn’t always guaranteed. Sometimes, pursuing our passions can lead to heartbreaking outcomes, even costing lives. Antoine De Saint Exupery, a remarkable French aviator and author, stands as a poignant reminder of the risks one can face while ardently pursuing their dreams.
